This kitchen was totally remodelled by a New York contractor company. It took about 6 month to finish the project. What I loved about this is finishing materials they used on columns and back splash lights on walls and bar isle. Really nice touch.
And yes, those jars for spices there on the wall, holding up with magnets – brilliant 
They cover actually small metal door to electrical switches, huh?!

Nursery room in Connecticut mansion
It was a relatively small assignment with my long-time and dear client – interior designer Anjali Pollack. She was revisiting one of her projects in Connecticut where she had done this charming nursery and bathroom.
Unfortunately for me the weather wasn’t kind to me and it was drizzling and ruined all my plans to take exterior photographs of this great mansion as well. No luck, and moreover the foliage was almost gone anyway(despite we had plenty here in NYC yet).

Beautiful and modest gem on Upper West Side
I loved this fairly small loft on 1 West 67th Street from the first glance. Probably because I’m personally not a fan of big apartments or houses for many reasons (not agoraphobic either though )
But this is really clean and simple dwelling where I’d feel comfortable.

It was a beautiful apartment in a great building. The photoshoot was challenging though – interior designed by talented designer Lisa Merkatz was finished mostly in whites. And that is always tough for me
But it is lovely and very livable! Judge for yourself:

Where is the best view on Manhattan? Not in Manhattan probably? There is a new residential complex named Sky View Parc which gives you the best view on Manhattan over the Queens.
I did this project photographing a few model apartments in this complex in January 2011. And I’d say it’s a lovely place to live actually.

These model apartments were designed by a highly experienced interior designer Kristina Jacob and I need to say it was a pleasure to work with her.
Tribeca loft’s interior
Almost a year ago I did this interior photoshoot for a designer portfolio.
It was a great loft located in Tribeca, Manhattan. The designer wanted to get photographs of dining area and living area. Unfortunately there were some limits in terms of choosing the angles because not everything was done by the same designer so we didn’t want to include kitchen in the pictures. Therefore I had to shoot dining room toward windows and living area. Which is not my favorite view in this case.

Long Island house again, Port Washington
It was a lovely summer day in July when we had this photoshoot of a beautiful new house in gated community of Port Washington on north shore of Long Island, NY. Again for portfolio of interior designer Christine Hopper.
A little bit too much sun outside for dealing with skylights but we managed it

This is was an interior photography kind of work. But. In fact we were shooting for and with Linoto company which makes great linen stuff. It was quite fast-pacing and high-quality work, with 2 invited stylists and a lot of props. So we shot it in a loft and all interiors were staged and styled mostly by stylist Abby Walton and Jason Evege from Linoto.

Everything was styled to the way you would feel it like it’s home, not just a showroom, but real cozy and warm home. I think that the stylists did they job really great. there is fine balance between messy loose set and relaxed homelike atmosphere we achieved in these images.

Berkshire’s hidden beauty
I had a nice relaxing morning drive to Berkshire area on last day of August. It’s always so inspiring to see all the beauty of the nature and those amazing old small towns. I was very well charged to photograph the interior so nicely created by Boston area interior designer Mary Courville. We worked together for the first time but I believe we did quite great job photographing this lovely house

Upper East Side beauty – former Westbury hotel building
This red-brick building along one of the city’s most chic stretches was converted into condominium apartments from a hotel in 1999. The building’s facade was cleaned but not substantially altered as it is within an historic landmark district.
The former hotel was always understated but attracted a very elegant and discrete clientele, including members of the Mellon family, because of its superb location and the fact that there were only two other major large luxury hotels on the Upper East Side, the Carlyle a few blocks north on Madison Avenue and the Stanhope on Fifth Avenue at 81st Street.
The 21-story building has only 47 apartments.

Nice big house beautifully located in secluded area on North Shore of Long Island. Young mom with 3 great kids and challenge to have great design for all their rooms. And a win!

Long Island house, south shore
It was a photoshoot of kitchen interior of a Long Island house for portfolio of designer Christine A. Hopper of Hopper Designs. She had been featured in House Magazine July/Aug 2010 issue for the design of this kitchen but apparently she wasn’t happy about the imagery used in the magazine.
So we had a quick half-day shoot of just this kitchen and breakfast area.

West End Prewar Beauty
It was amazing to find old communication system still working and in use. As well as in-wall Mail delivery system (just don’t know how they call it) – it’s really old copper/bronze thing, looks fantastic.
I was photographing there one bedroom apartment designed to be convenient and cozy. A lot of nice elements and details make the spirit of the place.

Cool space in Tribeca
Probably one bedroom apartment isn’t enough for designer to fly high but this one designed to be cool, with flair of luxury and livable at the same time.
